LooUQ MTC.2 Series

LooUQ created the MTC.2 series to solve the challenges of power consumption and size limits. The first of the MTC.2 is the N9151 below with Nordic Semiconductors outstanding nRF9151 SIP. All of the MTC.2 devices share the same card-edge connector interface based on the M.2 connector specifications.

LooUQ is excited to announce the debut of our newest embedded modem, the MTC2-N9151, based on the Nordic Semiconductor nRF9151 module. The MTC2-N9151 ushers in a new paradigm for LooUQ with a truly “smart” modem.

LooUQ LTEm Series

LooUQ's original embedded communications devices, based on the Quectel BG module family. The LTEm models are classic "AT" command modems with an optional SPI interface.

LQ-LTEm2

Our 2nd Generation Quectel BG Modem.

Same form-factor as the original LTEm1. Lower cost without simultaneous cellular/GNSS functions. The LTEm2 is powered by the Quectel BG95-M3 with full support for LPWAN protocols: CAT-M1, NB-IOT, and EGPRS.

The LTEm2 is also available by special order with the Eagle Electronics I490 module “Made in Ohio”.

LQ-LTEm1

The Quectel BG96 based modem that started it all.

The LTEm1 is the original LooUQ cellular device for low-power IoT communications combining network and GNSS location functionality in a small embedded system form-factor. Powered by the Quectel BG96 module, the LTEm1 offers rich internal protocol support and GNSS functionality.

It works seamlessly with popular IoT development boards and is supported by the LooUQ LTEmC open-source communications driver.

The LTEm1 is nearly identical in function to the LTEm2, but offers simultaneous LTE and GNSS operations due to its use of the Quectel BG96 module.

Tooling For Your Lab

LooUQ provides several products to help you build your solution and ramp up production.

MTC2-N9151-UXPUXplor (v2.2a)

The UXplor development board for the MTC2-N9151 supports application development and flashing to the N9151. All nRF9151 GPIO pins are exposed via headers. The UXplor has integrated power and an RGB LED indicator.

The breakout development board for the MTC2-N9151 supports application development, power monitoring, and flashing for the N9151. All GPIO pins on the nRF9151 SIP are available for testing your integrations.
